Azucena López Legorreta impulsa acciones de prevención y atención de enfermedades a usuarios de centros de rehabilitación

Azucena López Legorreta, Presidenta del Desarrollo Integral de la Familia en el Municipio de Colima, impulsó acciones de prevención y atención de enfermedades a 263 personas usuarias de 7 centros de rehabilitación, en coordinación de esfuerzos interinstitucionales con la Jurisdicción Sanitaria No. 1 de la Secretaría de Salud en el Estado, quienes aplicaron pruebas rápidas de detección de VIH, Sífilis, Glucosa en Sangre, Presión Arterial, Índice de Masa Corporal y Peso y Talla.
López Legorreta, destacó que la salud es un derecho de la ciudadanía y que es prioridad de su esposo Locho Morán, alcalde capitalino, que todas y todos tengan acceso a las medidas de prevención y atención de enfermedades, por lo cual, dijo, se llevó a cabo dicha brigada de salud promovida a través de las coordinaciones del DIF Municipal Colima: Servicios Médicos a cargo de Rocío Arreguín y de Atención a Adultos en Plenitud y Población Vulnerable que dirige Verónica Barreto.
La titular del DIF Municipal, agradeció este trabajo conjunto por parte de la jefa de la Jurisdicción, Dra. Nelly Rocío Flores García, así como de la Coordinadora de Vigilancia Epidemiológica, Dra. Lilia Concepción Pérez Larios y el apoyo brindado ´por 4 personas de enfermería.
Los albergues atendidos fueron: CRREAD, Centro de Recuperación y Rehabilitación de Enfermos de Alcoholismo y Drogadicción varonil y femenil; “RENACE” en Colima, “El Fin es la Esperanza” A.C., “Hala- Ken” Varonil, “Camino a la Felicidad” femenil y Tierra de Campeones varonil.
