+ Guillermo Ramírez, el suplente del regidor con licencia Carlos Arellano, afirmó que continuará con el trabajo que le ha encomendado su antecesor, apegado a su ideología apartidista, respaldando siempre los proyectos que beneficien a la población manzanillense y señalando todo lo que esté fuera de la Ley.
Luego de que el regidor Carlos Arellano solicitara licencia al Cabildo Municipal de Manzanillo para separarse del cargo por tiempo indefinido y así poder participar en el proceso electoral de 2021, su suplente Guillermo Ramírez aseguró que continuará con el trabajo de su antecesor, apegado a su ideología apartidista, respaldando siempre los proyectos que beneficien a la población manzanillense y señalando todo lo que esté fuera de la Ley.
Asimismo, consideró que la democracia es un acto que se ejerce por derecho, razón por la cual recordó que Carlos Arellano, en su última intervención como regidor, exhortó a todos los funcionarios públicos y representantes populares, que deseen participar en el próximo proceso electoral, a que lo hagan, cumpliendo con la normatividad.
En ese sentido, apuntó que los aspirantes a algún cargo de representación popular deben renunciar a sus cargos políticos para generar condiciones de igualdad con los ciudadanos que también participen en los próximos comicios electorales, “pues no pueden cobrar como funcionaros y andar haciendo campaña política”.
Finalmente, agradeció a sus compañeros de cabildo por la confianza y todas sus atenciones.
